Can I use Radar now?
Radar is in early Android testing, initially with Dutch (+31) phone numbers. Email us to request access. It isn't listed on Google Play yet, and there is no public iPhone release. Nearby activity depends on who else is using Radar around you.
What does “nearby” mean?
*The sending and receiving radius is 50 metres. GPS uncertainty can add up to 20 metres of allowance. Other users see a range label, not your coordinates, but can infer that you're nearby. Location is used while you use nearby messaging.
Is Radar free?
Yes. New accounts start on Free, with three channel selections. Purchases are currently disabled. You can email us to request complimentary Plus with six channel selections. It is granted manually, costs nothing and never converts automatically to a paid plan.
Who can contact me?
Nearby posts are visible to eligible people receiving that channel. Direct messages require an accepted friend request. You can block or report a profile, and delete your account from Privacy & safety.
What happens to my information?
Your phone number isn't displayed on your profile, and only your age is public. Radar processes your location to deliver nearby posts. DMs are not end-to-end encrypted. See our privacy policy for details, and account deletion for your options.
